My wallet balance is not correct
Occasionally, your Exodus balance may need to be manually refreshed - for example, if there was a network update error, or if Exodus quit unexpectedly. You can manually refresh your balance by following the steps below:
- Find what asset has the incorrect balance. In this example, we are going to refresh the Aragon balance. These steps are the same for each asset.
- Open your asset wallet by clicking on “Wallet” on the left sidebar then choose the asset that is having trouble.
- Mouse over the Asset logo and you will see a refresh icon. Click on the refresh icon.
- A dialog will open asking you if you want to rescan the blockchain. Choose "Rescan".
When this process starts, individual transactions are counted and rebuilt. This is very similar to recounting a drawer of money.
This feature was improved in version 1.41.0. If you are using ANY older version it is important to update to the latest version of Exodus then follow the steps above. You can update to the latest version of Exodus by visiting: https://www.exodus.io/releases/
During an Exodus exchange, the funds leave your wallet for a moment before coming back in the asset you exchanged for. This is normal behavior. You can learn more about the exchange process here: http://support.exodus.io/article/62-how-do-i-exchange-assets
