How Do I Exchange Unsupported ERC20 Assets?
Beginning with Exodus 1.45.0, you now have the ability to manage and store Ethereum-powered tokens that may not be fully supported within Exodus. If you are using an older version of Exodus, please upgrade using this guide: https://support.exodus.io/article/27-how-do-i-upgrade-exodus
Since these assets do not yet have exchange support from our exchange partners, you will need to use an alternate Exchange if you wish to trade your asset for another. Luckily, there is an easy way to view the most popular exchanges for any particular asset. Coinmarketcap.com maintains an updated listing of virtually all tokens and assets, including the additional ERC20 tokens found in Exodus. With each listing, a database of markets and volume is also included.
First, navigate to coinmarketcap.com in your web browser. From here, you'll use the search box found on the right side of the page to find your asset:
In the search bar enter the name or ticker symbol for your desired asset. You will then see the asset listed as a search result, and can click to reveal additional information:
This page contains market and pricing data, as well as additional information on the asset. To see which markets are currently exchanging the asset, simply click on the Markets tab toward the centre of the page:
From here, you'll be presented with the pricing and volume data for the top exchanges currently trading this asset. It is important to conduct due diligence to ensure the legitimacy of an exchange before sending your assets- as a high amount of volume does not always mean the exchange is trustworthy.
