I just sent assets from another wallet, but nothing shows up in Exodus. Where are my funds?

When you initiate a transaction from another wallet or exchange, sometimes it can appear as if your funds have "disappeared." Don't worry, they haven't--often the issue is that your transaction does not have enough confirmations yet. Exodus may not show any assets until the transaction has at least one (1) confirmation.

You can see the number of confirmations by looking at the transaction on the exchange or wallet where you initiated it. Look for a "transaction ID." Often the wallet will provide a link, so you can click on it and it will take you to a blockchain explorer. For example. if you sent BTC from Coinbase to Exodus, you would look at your "Recent Activity" on the dashboard. In there, you can find the transaction you just made:

Note the "Pending" status. Clicking on it, we can see that the number of confirmations is zero (0):

In most cases, Exodus will alert you that it received a "Pending" transaction, but it might not be the case in many instances, especially for other assets. It can look like your coins "vanished." Chances are, you just need to wait until you receive at least one (1) confirmation. If you click on the "View transaction" link above, it will take you to the transaction itself:

Notice that the confirmation count is still zero (0), so to Exodus it can appear that nothing happened. However, Exodus considers the transaction "Confirmed" when it receives at least 1 confirmation. Then you will have the funds:

Sometimes it can take a long time to receive confirmations, depending on network conditions. According to this knowledge-base article, it can take a varying amount of time, depending on the asset type:

The above table is an average, and it could be more depending, again, on the network conditions at the time. 

If you still do not see the funds after you see that your transaction has at least one (1) confirmations, make sure you refresh your wallet.
